A girl's life cascades into chaos as everyone around her suffers a gruesome fate while she herself becomes less and less certain of who she is and what kind of a world she lives in. Since really good streamed movies are something of a rarity on Netflix, I decided to give TAG a chance at proving me wrong. Well, I must be totally honest here, asides from all the pantie and bra flashes which were erotically evocative for me, there's just no other worthwhile substance to these movies that would lead me to give it a higher rating than 3 stars, and only because of all the sexually suggestive undergarments and skin shown here. I must also mention that this is a cheap shot at "Vanilla Sky" which was a much more complex and superior movie than Tag. Sion Sono the rebel genius returns to what he does best and does so uniquely. It is no secret that while America has gone Taliban and does body shaming on the street, at schools, on aeroplanes and more japan has advanced and the human body, pleasure and attractiveness have become normalized. Japanese women lead the world in showing everyone what nature and beauty is about and here Sono takes advantage to show us to bodies, legs, hair and panties, but incorporates a tale of gruesome gory massacre. Wow, cool. Action of one way, action of the other way and Sono gives the world another reason to cheer him on.
